It's the twenty-first century, everybody has cell phones. Text your friends or leave them a message on their voice mail.

The Java Hut is a small but popular café, especially with the high school kids. It's a lot more personal and comfortable than Starbucks, and the coffee's even better, too. A lot of young adults like to kill time here, since you're likely to run into someone you know.

Oasis isn't even a year old, but it's the hottest club in Fairview. The music here is a dramatic shift from the rock scene, but it's easier to dance to. It isn't uncommon to find drunken and/or drug-fueled adolescents here, because even though the drinking age is twenty-one, the underage always manage to sneak in and party until the place closes... or they get kicked out. Whichever comes first.

Since the clubs are closed during the day, a lot of young people like to hang out at the mall with their friends. There's a huge food court, plus tons of clothing stores, like Hot Topic, Pac Sun, Abercrombie, etc. You're bound to find something that catches your eye... and spend a little cash, too.

Just another park, complete with swings and a jungle gym for the kiddies and young at heart. High school kids like to come here in the late hours of the night to drink with their friends and wreak havoc. Just don’t get caught by the cops.

A local high school where many students attend. It's pretty much like any other high school, with a lot of cliques and trouble makers.

A pretty basic university where those who are actually interested in learning come to pursue a higher education. Most live in residence and some are known for throwing killer parties.

Whether your heading somewhere or just looking to kill some time, walking the streets can prove to be more entertaining than you'd think.
