the one and only
FULL NAME: Wilks Allen Davis
NICK NAME(S): Wilksy, Dub D
AGE: 20
BIRTHDAY: June 4th
PLACE OF BIRTH: Haleiwa, Hawaii
PLAY-BY: Jim Ward of the band Sparta

it's a lifestyle
OCCUPATION: Stage Manager at Rushmores. Basically he books the bands, pays them, and sets up the shows.
BAND: The Midnight Hour
POSITION: Lead Vocals
BAND HISTORY: Wilks was actually the last one to join the band when it first started. The then Drummer and Lead guitarist approached him during high school at lunch, with a proposition. Back then, he was a relatively new kid, but his showcasing in his choir and music classes gave him the reputation needed to get into the band. He soon became friends with everyone in the band, and delved into the music scene.
The Midnight hour is one of the most well-known bands in Fairview, making their frontman even more well known, helping his job at Rushmores. The band suffered a lull, though, after the desersion of their old Lead guitarist, and a month later, the death of their beloved friend and drummer. The band didn't gig for nearly a year before replacing them, and playing again, moreso in their honor than in spite of them. Now with their connections, they're the biggest Fairview native band around.

you know I'm so hot
APPEARANCE: Wilks is a very unintimidating guy, which is a great reflection of his personality. He's never been one to work out, but simply being an outgoing kid growing up, he's developed a slight build, but not really anything further than the average of guys his age.
Years of surfing, and growing up on the North Shore of Hawaii's Oahu have trained his hair to constantly be in the state of disarray due to saltwater, regardless if he was in the water or not. It usually works out, but he keeps it short so he doesn't have to deal with the upkeep.
He's got very unassuming eyes, and a warm smile that's been very worn, rather than practiced as many people have, developing the smile lines he is missing. He can usually be found with a slight beard, or clean shaven, depending on how he feels that morning.
STYLE: You can take the surfer out of Hawaii, but you can't take Hawaii out of the surfer. This guy lives by his khaki cargo shorts. His shirts can usually be found marked up with logos, usually Quicksilver or Billabong. Other than that, he wears dress shirts with the sleeves rolled up and the buttons only half done. Everything about him is casual, down to his many pairs of worn down sandals.
MARKINGS: Scars on his elbows from slamming into the coral too many times. Tattoo of a pair of drumsticks entwined in a rose for his lost friend.
PIERCINGS: None.
all the small things
LIKES: The sound of water, sand between his toes, the horizon, feeling the wind, a pencil and paper, a good conversation, a scratched up surfboard, singing in the shower, wasted time, lines in the sand, taking the cab, and most of all, music.
DISLIKES: traffic, static, cauliflower, wannabes, the jaded, the fake, the posers, critics, worriers, closed spaces, the flu, eating his vegetables, being kooked up, rushing, anxiety, associated anxiety, spazziness.
STRENGTHS: wordiness, surfing, chilling, conversation, singing, sociality.
WEAKNESSES: openess, laxness, casuality, cauliflower, talking to girls.
FEARS: Death of himself, or another close friend.
HABITS: He tends to use adjectives or words only he really understands. Example: "Yeah, it was pretty boogie, but I'd rather jet than to have her heard for the full ride."
GOALS: Get the band off the ground, or get Rushmores on the map.
SECRET: He always avoids the conversation, but he's never had a girlfriend. He's had good friends, a one night stand here or there, but never anything steady.

quite the charmer
PERSONALITY:
If hippies were still around, Wilks would probably be their poster child. Easy going, anti-establishment, all environment, and completely full of heart and soul. Wilks likes to live his life by the Hawaiian cliches of his youth. He uses 'hang loose' as a metaphor for life, instead of a casual goodbye to friends.
Wilks is the friend of everyone. It's just his nature. Even those out to be assholes usually can't find a point or thing to jester him with, especially after being bludgeoned with his uncanny sympathy, and complete casual attitude. About the only times he really acts differently is when he's around girls (he's scared to death of talking to them.) Despite the fact that girls have usually always liked Wilks, he always had trouble talking to them. The other instance is when he's onstage.
He's suffered some heavy losses, with moving during high school, the loss of a close friend, and the desersion of yet another, he's got quite the heart to pour out onstage. He never really stands still, and he's always doing something to let you know that his voice doesn't from just his throat, but something a little deeper, with a pulse.

you know I can't resist
SEXUALITY: heterosexual
TURN ONS: Blondes, light blue eyes, a personality, musician, tomboy, piercings.
TURN OFFS: Ditziness, spazzes, fake hair dyes, really short girls, snobbiness.
RELATIONSHIP HISTORY: As stated earlier, Wilks has trouble talking to women. It's not so much as he is afraid of them, he just hates the fact that he thinks he's really being judged, which puts a lot of anxiety on him, which is clearly not his thing. He's had a one-night stand here and there with the girls who're determined to get with him, but otherwise he really has trouble going for the ones HE wants. He's never had a steady girlfriend, so doesn't know the first thing about relationships.
legend in the making
Kathryn Davis: Kathryn, 48, met Roger as a convention for travel advisors and agents to exchange businesses and numbers. They were both in the same business, and got the most from Hawaii, so they hit it off, got married, moved their, and had 2 kids.
Roger Davis: Travel Agent, 45.
Lydia Davis: Lydia, 22, is his older sister. She graduated and moved on to study Veternary Science at Uconn.
HISTORY:
Most would be jealous of Wilks, in that he was born on the North Shore, a fabulous vacation spot with the true Island feel. The waves against the shore were the background to his life for a long time. Growing up and going through school, he always was that one kid who'd get lost on the field trip, wanting to learn something, or simply check something out. He loved to talk, and excelled in all his English courses. He never played any school sports, because of his new discovery.
Surfing. It consumed a lot of his life. As soon as he got his first board for his birthday at age 8, he surfed until he was 15 when his family moved to Fairview for business. Although surfing was the biggest part of what h did, he'd always sang. Mostly just singing along in the car, chior at school, in the shower, and so forth. When he moved to Fairview, his surfboard became nothing but a great room decoration (except for the summers when he visits his friends at the University of Hawaii and spend the Summer Break surfing). When he was picked out in shcool to join a better singing group, he started taking his voice seriously, and began focusing on it. He excelled to the point where he was asked to join the band The Midnight Hour.
The band and their shows unvield to him a music scene he never knew existed. He began sneaking out of the house to see shows, get to know people, and get his name, and the band's reputation out there. Through the years he's developed a lot of great friends, and a big shadow in the area. Now, everyone knows his name. He books all the bands at Rushmores, and more importantly, runs the admission to get them paid. If you wanna play a gig, you go through Wilks. Hell, sometimes the Radio Station calls him to ask who to goto for demos and fresh local material. He's everyone's friend, but unfortunatly, no one's good friend outside the band. Hopefully that will change, we'll have to see.
