Welcome to Pantheon Academy, a boarding school you will never see in anywhere else in this world. The one and only.
Greek mythology has been probably the most-known mythology in the world. Despite of people worshipping the great gods, the belief slowly starts to cease, as the world comes to modernization. Greek mythology is not forgotten, but the function seems to have changed. People consider it more as a story, a legend, something they tell to their kids just before bedtime.
But in the 90s, a rumor came up, saying that the gods would return in human forms, not exactly take forms as humans but most likely bestow their power and traits to chosen people. Reincarnation, perhaps that's best word to describe? Rumor has it that the chosen ones would be likely young adults.
An old historian realized that these youths, by possessing special powers and traits bestowed from the gods, the youths should live in hiding, so their powers wouldn't be exposed in public. Therefore, in 2003, he established a secret, isolated boarding school up in the Olympic Mountains, Washington. Every student who is discovered to have been bestowed the powers and traits, will be sent an invitation letter to enroll in this boarding school.
Later on, it was discovered that not just Greek mythological creatures, but also other figures from other myths. Egyptian and Japanese are only a few of those deities mentioned.
And perhaps that's the reason why Pantheon Academy exists...
