“There’s a storm coming, just like the last time."

What was it like the last time though? The years is nineteen seventy
seven and it’s the time when the first storm made it’s appearance in
both the muggle and wizard world. Muggles know something wrong is
in the air, but witches and wizards have a better idea of what’s happening.
The world is changing from this storm, which has now covered their
clear, peaceful sky. This is the year and time where everything is
changing, and not for the better. It’s like Grindelwald all over again,
if not worse, and even Albus Dumbledore, the most powerful wizard
of all time, is concerned about the rumours going around about the
rise of this new power, this new dark Lord.

“Lily we have to do something!”
“And what do you suppose we do James,
run after him with our wands drawn?
What good would that do?”

This new dark lord who calls himself Lord Voldemort, who thinks that
he can extinguish any of the wizarding race who are not pureblooded,
and take the muggles out with them. He who must not be named is
on the rise. And there are students at Hogwarts who want to fight him,
who don’t believe it, and who want to join him. Of course there will be
people out there who will want to ignore it. It’s only the natural reaction
for unpleasant news: Denial. But those will always be the first to go.
Now, one the darkest wizards of the age on the rise for his first time.
He’s gathering followers and trying to take over everywhere. People are
scared to death about their families and loved ones, because no one
knows who will be next. Who is going to be reported in the newspaper
as missing? Who is going to show up dead? Who is going to be tortured
for sick pleasure? No one is safe, it seems, except those who attend
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There are students at
Hogwarts who want to fight him, who don’t believe it what is happening,
who are deathly afraid and who even want to join him.

“Black what do you think you’re doing?”
“What does it look like Malfoy, I'm joining the side that is going to win.”
“How can you be sure?”
“He’s the most powerful wizard of all time, how can we not win?”


Even though the students at Hogwarts seem safe, this war is affecting them.
The entire wizarding world is becoming excited and fearful, ready to
stand up and fight against this dark lord, while others are withdrawing
and preparing to hide from him to save their own skins, or even more
so the ones of the people that they really love in their lives and don't
want to see getting hurt. There are many different angles that are
being taken by many different people, and all for different reasons.
Hogwarts is starting to become more divided than it was in the past.
Purebloods now are making verbal and physical threats against those
who have the “inferior” blood, while those who are refusing to join him
are starting to disappear. Things truly are changing at Hogwarts but
things everything was fine....Ten Minutes Ago.
