APPEARANCE: He's kind of on the skinny side, but not in an anorexic way, and he's five feet and six inches tall. He has very dark brown hair, a bit on the long side for a male. His bangs are pushed off to the side. He'll occasionally put streaks of color into his hair when he gets bored, usually purple or green. He has chocolate brown eyes.
STYLE: He wears baggy jeans, too long and too loose for his thin body. Shirt-wise, he'll just wear whatever. He isn't picky. Usually, it's baggy and well worn t-shirts, not because he can't afford clothes but because he tries to look like he doesn't care. He'll usually wear a pair of converse, the basic black and white high-tops.
MARKINGS: Going up his arm, he has a tattoo of a coral snake. PERSONALITY:
Tj is a pretty shy person, and doesn't have that many friends yet. He would love to meet new people, but he doesn't have much confidence in himself, especially since he's new in town. He's very friendly once he gets to a know a person but some people may find him cold or rude. If he doesn't know you well he's unlikely to open up very much. Once he's friends with you though, he will protect you and fight for you, no matter what.
He's been drinking alcohol and smoking since he was 13, and doesn't have a whole lot of self control about it. If he's having a bad day, he might smoke a whole pack or two within a few hours. Alcohol-wise, he has a tendency of getting really drunk and not remembering everything. He doesn't do it because he loves the taste, or anything like that. He does it because he doesn't want to live to be old.
He gets pretty bad mood swings, he can go from being perfectly normal and happy to feeling anxious and upset, or to feeling crazy angry over something stupid. That's usually when he starts drinking or smoking, when he's anxious or when he's angry. He loves to go to parties and just hang out with people and have a good time, and that's usually the only time when he doesn't get mood swings. He feels perfectly at ease in a large group of people, because if he needs to he can just blend in.
Regardless of some of his unhealthy habits, he still does quite well in school. He gets good grades and is in the advanced classes. He takes psychology and sociology classes, and has hopes to be a therapist one day.[/color]

FATHER:
Neil Adam Kerr is 49 years old and works at a local indie radiostation. Tj is very close to his father, and his coming out as trans hasn't hindered their relationship at all, and if anything it's made it stronger.
SIBLINGS:
Alanna Elise Kerr is 14 years old and doesn't have a job yet. Their relationship is non-existent. Alanna thinks that Tj is a freak, and refuses to even talk to him.
HISTORY:
Tj grew up in Staten Island, New York. He hated it there, but he had friends, which he liked, and easy access to whatever alcohol he wanted. He had his first sip of rum at 13 years old, at his uncle's wedding rehearsal. His uncle offered him a beer, and he declined and asked for a rum & coke, which he got. Before that, he'd never even considered it, but at the time he hadn't yet come out as transgendered, and he had to wear a dress and he felt like complete sh*t and he gave in, and the alcohol definitely made him feel better. He was addicted ever since.
When he was fifteen, he came out as transgendered, and began living as a boy. He got into a ton of fights with people in his school, because they weren't the most accepting bunch. He still had a few close friends, but eventually, a few months ago he got expelled from school, and his parents decided that they should move somewhere else and get a fresh start.
He's been living here for a few weeks, but hasn't had a chance to make any friends yet because of all the hectic moving-to-a-new-place work. He quickly picked up a new job delivering chinese food, because he knew he'd need spending cash for alcohol and cigarettes. His old job had been at a library.
