The wonderful bustling of the mall. All age groups are walking around, enjoying the stores, like Abercrombie, PacSun and the like. Alright, well, for the elderly people, they're kind of limping around. Hey, who notices these things anyway, right? There's some Hip-hop song playing in the background, but it's too faint to figure out what it is. The beat could only be heard, and if you observed hard enough, the people were walking to the beat. It's like their bodies were programmed to do such a thing. Well, the tomboy shouldn't be so judgemental.
Above her was a sign that blinked the oh wonderful colors, "McDonald's." Yeah, the fast food place that everyone loves to go to. It's where mothers bring their children to make them shut up, and the people who just want a burger because they're depressed. Either way, the tomboy was there, being the clerk. This was her job; the tackiest job there could possibly ever be. However, today was a slow day.
Alright, that's not true either.
The last customer she had took too damn long to give her his order. After about ten minutes, she finally told him off and he rushed off all huffy. I mean damn; it's a FAST food place. Give your damn order and go, right?
The outfit the boyish beauty was wearing was the MickeyD's uniform. A black polo with her name tag that says "AALIYAH" and black skinny jeans. However, they aren't girl skinny jeans. They are more on the boy side. If you ever saw a guy wearing skinny jeans that are still baggy and he wears them down to half of his ass, that's the way she was wearing it. A bit of her boxers shown, and "Wii" was on it everywhere. The tomboy's curly hair was in a pony-tail, and she had a black hat on, tilted to the side. Her elbow was propped up on the counter, and her face on her cheek. This gave her a rather bored/intimidating look for a clerk. Who would want to go to this McDonald's with a pissed-off looking clerk? Nobody, and that was the point.
Those hazel orbs peered at the running toddlers, screaming on top of their lungs. And I wonder why I took this job... They were somewhat cute, making the tomboy smirk a bit to herself. Next, she peered over at a couple way in the back, by the bathrooms. A wife and a husband, fighting. He probably cheated on that girl over there. When she thought "over there", her eyes shifted towards a hoochie type woman who was just walking out of Abercrombie with her own hues feasting on the husband fighting with the wife.
You gotta love relationships.
A small sigh escaped her, and she stood upright. With a quick stretch, she peered back in the kitchen. About three people were there. Two girls and one guy. The guy was jamming to his iPod and the girls were texting. Of course. Another wonderful teenage thing. After observing the other three workers, she turned her attention back to the mall. Her manager took her iPod for several reasons not to be mentioned. She had her phone in her pocket, but she didn't feel like replying back to all the sluts that was texting her at this current moment.
Another swift movement and her elbow was propped up against the counter again. Her hand was against her cheek, giving her the same impression as before. This time, her other hand was starting to make an interesting beat on the counter. Boom, boom, tap, boom, boom, tap. This kept her occupied while watching the others. Soon, she started to tune everything out, going into Liyah World. Bada Ba Ba Baaa, she's lovin' it!
