BAND HISTORY: Saint always had musical talent and ever since she was four years old, she wanted to be a rock star. She took up guitar when she was six and started singing when she was nine, spending all of her days with her music and her friends. Four years ago, the girls of Because We Can decided to create their own band; they knew they had what it took and they wanted nothing more than to rock out together, since it was an excuse to spend more time together. They all get along really great with the occasional rift. Saint can be annoying and self-centered at times, which can cause a little bit of tension with her band mates, but they're quick to work it out.

APPEARANCE: Saint is a pretty girl. She wouldn't call herself drop-dead gorgeous, but she knows she's good looking. Her hair is flaming red and it has been since she was ten, when she first dyed her hair with Kool-Aid for a dare and actually ended up liking it. She has green eyes, a somewhat-pale complexion and she stands at about 5'7". She has a slender build, with curves in all the right places, but she isn't overly curvy and far from looking like a porn star.
STYLE: Saint's all about individuality. She likes to wear clothes that she knows no one else is going to have, so she usually shops at thrift stores to find the unique articles of clothing she's looking for. On a normal day, you'll catch her in jeans, a t-shirt and a pair of Chucks, maybe with a hoodie, depending on the weather. She'd never be caught dead in a dress though and rarely dresses up, since she "doesn't do formal."
MARKINGS: She has a scar on her left temple from when she fell off her roof when she was eight and gashed her head, but her hair covers it. She also has a star tattoo on her inner left wrist

LIKES: She loves her friends and spending time with them, but she also adores music and the guitar. Parties are a definite like, as well as drinking, pretty guys and girls, and sex. She has a need for speed, breaking things, and loves attention, too.
DISLIKES: Saint can't stand control freaks or boring squares who never want to do anything fun. She highly dislikes authority since she doesn't like being told what to do at all. Arrogant people do not get along well with her and neither does her father, for many reasons. Work is something she doesn't have the drive or attention span to do and she hates terrible music. STRENGTHS: Saint is charismatic, there's no doubt about that. She's great with a guitar and good at cheering people up, and sarcasm is a second language to her as well. Very quick-witted, Saint can come up with an insult or a comeback on the spot and she does so with natural ease. She can hold her liquor a lot better than most people and she's very good at seeing inside of people and finding who they really are.
WEAKNESSES: Well, she definitely has a problem when it comes to pretty guys and girls. She's can't control her libido, which gets her into a lot of trouble all over town. She's very hot-headed and rash and tends to do whatever the hell she wants while ignoring warnings and not listening to anyone. Saint can make friends easily but has trouble opening up and really letting people in. Expressing her feelings is a huge struggle for her, also. Addiction is something she's struggled with, in many ways, shapes and forms.
FEARS: She's afraid of losing her friends for whatever reason, but mainly she's afraid of doing something wrong and hurting them. Even though she tends to push people away, she's terrified of being alone.
HABITS: Saint's a smoker, and she always has a habit of fidgetting; whether it's tapping her fingers on surfaces or flicking her lighter, her hands always have to be busy.
GOALS: To become a rock icon
SECRET: Saint has struggled with drugs before. This is common knowledge amongst her friends and band mates, but what no one knows is that her addiction has started up again. She was clean for a while, but just recently started dabbling in harder drugs, like cocaine. She tells herself that she's fine and she has it under control, but her addiction is rapidly becoming worse.
Her father was also abusive of her when she was younger. She's never actually come out and said that he abused her, but it's pretty easy to put two and two together, so all of her friends at least suspect it if they haven't put it together for themselves.

PERSONALITY: Her real name may be Gray, but she's anything but dull. Saint has a very vibrant personality; she's outspoken and very opinionative, often making her voice heard even when it's not appropriate. This characteristic makes her come off as rude, which she can be a lot of the time, but she's very rarely rude on purpose. If she doesn't like something or someone, she'll come right out and say it and usually not in the nicest way. Saint has a loud mouth and a lot of trouble keeping that mouth under control, since snarky comments seem to flood out of it, at least toward those she hates.
She is charasimatic, which is very important since she always uses her charisma to meet new people, make friends, seduce prospects and most importantly, weasel her way out of trouble. Yes, Saint has a knack for getting herself into trouble, often joking that trouble is her middle name; the nineteen year-old does like looking for it occasionaly, but even when she's not, she aways seems to find it and drag her friends along with her for the ride. Despite this, Saint always manages to get herself out of trouble, mainly because of her charisma, quick thinking and street smarts.
A lot of people would think that Saint's stupid since she's sometimes known for throwing out an unintelligent or uneducated comment, but she's actually quite smart. The truth is, there are very few things that Saint cares about, so she never applies herself, since she sees everything else as a waste of time. She also thinks being smart can be a burden, so she plays the idiot in a lot of situations.
Saint always jumps head first into things without thinking of the consequeces and even when she does, she never cares about them. She's all about the adventure and having a good time, so she's willing to sacrifice pretty much anything and get herself in trouble if it means having fun. She can be very immature, too, but that's just her sense of humor.
Saint's definitely the friend you want to have, but not the girlfriend. She's always there to bail her friends out, listen to their problems, offer them a shoulder to cry on and if anyone messes with them, she'll fuck their shit up. Seriously. She's very confrontational and has no problem throwing a punch. Saint is also adventurous with a thirst for fun and something new, so being around her is never boring. A lot of people find her hilarious, but she doesn't try to be funny, she's just honest. However, when it comes to relationships, she's the opposite. A bit of a heartbreaker, Saint sleeps around and never commits. She doesn't like being tied down, so long-term relationships are out of the question, unless she can find someone to tame her... which is highly unlikely.
She is very outgoing, but her personality is almost like a facade; everybody sees her as the carefree and optimistic party girl, which she is for the most part, but there are moments when everything goes to shit. Even though she pretends not to, Saint has many insecurities; she never thinks she's good enough and even though she radiates confidence, she's secretly always putting herself down or blaming herself for something. She's the most loyal and caring friend you'll ever have, which is why she does her best to shield her friends from everything, even herself. She doesn't want to lose them, but knowing her, she'll probably do something one day. She's completely aware that she's bad luck; 100% bad news. It's in her nature to sabotage anything good that's ever happened to her.
Saint can come off as a major bitch to some. She's self-centered all the time, except when it comes to her friends. She has no problem with breaking the rules and getting into trouble. She's highly stubborn and in her mind, always right, and her hot-headed, confrontational persona leads to many arguments. However, she's quick to say she's sorry if she really means it.
She's also a party girl. There's nothing she loves more than to get drunk and go wild, especially with her friends. Saint's idea of a perfect night would be rocking on stage in front of a crowd, then getting trashed and acting stupid with her friends and finding someone to hook up with when everything's over. There are only three things that matter to the girl; her friends, her music, and having a good fucking time. She never thinks about the future and what it holds for her, unless it has to do with those three things. Marriage, a family, a nine-to-five job are all out of the question.

SEXUALITY: She's bisexual. She tends to lean more towards girls, not because she finds them more attractive, but because she needs to be in control of all her relationships and it's easier to be the "man" with girls than with guys. For her, everything is physical.
TURN ONS: Obviously good looks, but a good sense of humor doesn't hurt, either. She likes guys and girls who are confident, adventurous, and not afraid to try new things. Someone who is into music definitely captures her attention. She likes submissive partners, but she loses her interest in them very quickly; even more so, she likes someone who will challenge her and match her libido and personality without rolling over right away. I guess you could say she likes the conquest more than anything; someone who she can't seduce or sleep with or even get to know very easily. RELATIONSHIP HISTORY: Relationship? Saint's never really been in a relationship before. She prefers the term "fuck buddy" rather than "boyfriend" or "girlfriend." The longest partner she's ever had was a couple of months, but that got stale pretty quickly. Saint is quick to lose interest, which is why she's definitely not relationship material; she'll use you up and when she's done, she'll throw you away. It's become a habit of hers. She also isn't the most faithful partner. Since she loses interest so quickly, she doesn't think twice about hopping into bed with someone else to satisfy her needs. In the end, she's definitely not the person you want to be with. She can be really soft and caring when she wants to be, but she's never been with anybody who really brings that out of her yet. She has no desire to get married or even be in a real relationship. Maybe if she can find the right person, she'll change her mind, but the thought of committing to only one person scares her. Right now, she's enjoying her many flings with beautiful people.

MOTHER: Emily Michaels died in a car accident when Saint was seven years old. This fact still haunts the redhead to this very day. She grew up without guidance, without a mother, and always craved and needed one. When her mother was alive, they were very close and got along well. To Saint, her mother was pretty much the mother anyone would love to have; kind, patient, smart, pretty, and understanding. She doesn't like talking about her mother.
FATHER: Frederick Rousseau is Saint's father. He's fifty-three and spends most of his time traveling, since he's a business man who always has business. Frederick is cold and detached and his professional approach to his work translates into his parenting. Growing up, he was verbally and physically abusive of Saint, always calling her a screw up and blaming everything on her. Today, his relationship with Saint is non-existant. She grew up hating him and the first chance she had, she left home. She hasn't spoken to her father in three years and doesn't plan to ever again. Just the thought of him is enough to make her blood boil.
SIBLINGS: Saint has a younger half-sister who's about fifteen, although she doesn't consider her a sister. After her mother died, Saint's father began seeing other people. He ended up knocking up one of the women he dated. He agreed to pay child support, but that's the extent of his relationship with his other daughter and "baby-mama." Saint has never met her sister and has no desire to; she doesn't even know her name or where she lives. She's never told anyone that she has a sister, either.
HISTORY: Gray Michaels was born on a winter's eve while her parents were in France. Her father was born in France and is half-French himself, so as a young girl, Gray spent a lot of time commuting between her mother's home, Fairview, and Europe. As a result, she can speak fluent French and for the first few years of her life, she lived in and attended school in Marseille. Gray was a happy and bright girl who had a knack for trouble from the second she was born and she always sought out adventure, so the first part of her childhood was pretty good. Ideal, actually. When she was four, she began listening to her mother's old records and fell in love with rock and roll, determined to become a rock star. Her dad shook his head and hoped she'd grow out of it, but Gray's mother was very supportive and even bought her a guitar to help her out.
When Gray was seven, her mother was killed in a car accident right after her birthday; the roads were slippery and another driver collided with her car, killing her instantly. This was a harsh blow to the young Gray and even to her distant father, but he decided that it would be best for them to move to Fairview and get away from everything, so they packed up everything and moved to the city.
At seven, Gray was a Fairview native. She'd lived there for brief periods of time with her mother, but it was a new environment and a bit of a culture shock. Instead of shutting up and blocking everyone out like one would expect from a girl who just lost her mother and moved to a new country, Gray instead opened up and made the friends she still has today; her band mates. She internalized a lot of what she went through and brushed it aside, trying to cover it up and so she was always known as the funny, wild and crazy kid. Shortly after they moved to Fairview, Gray's father became abusive. He would verbally abuse her, call her things like "failure," "stupid," and "mistake." He also began beating on her every time she said or did something that got on his nerves... which was quite often.
Gray grew up to resent her father. She refused to use his last name and instead uses her mother's and even changed her name to Saint. From the time she was seven, the only two things she had to fall back on were her music and her friends, who she really believes saved her from probably killing herself or ending up in a ditch somewhere. Shortly after the girls started Because We Can, Saint got a little too into the rock star scene and began dabbling in drugs. Her friends were aware and tried everything to help her, but Saint almost lost them completely. It wasn't until she almost died and her friends begged her to stop that she changed her ways; she got cleaned up and back on the right track, although she began sleeping around a whole hell of a lot more, as well as drinking and partying.
Currently, Saint is having a blast just living her life and having fun with her friends and with her music. Her drug addiction started up a couple of months ago, which she hides from her friends out of shame and fear of losing them. She's still the same funny, wild and crazy kid, only know that she's older, she whores around a lot more and hides more from her friends than she would like to. She wants to be honest with them and be the best friend and person she can be, but maybe her father was right; after all these years, maybe she is just a failure and she's bound to screw everything up. She's still figuring it out for herself.
