Assuming the stance of a stork standing on one leg, Leaf Powers attempted to balance a stack of heavy books in one hand while she shifted the position of her camera which was hung around her neck, almost strangling her because of the precarious position the books were in, in her arms. She knew for a fact that sometime in the (very, very) near future the books would fall and cause a loud crash on the floor of the library. This would, she had no doubt, earn her a telling off from the sultry librarian and a few stares from the other students who seemed to be 'studying' - they probably weren't, but wanted to let others know that they 'were'. This wouldn't be so bad if she was anyone but herself, so you can just about imagine the embarrassment it would cause the annoyed, girl if it actually did happen. Although, she practically never went a day without being embarrassed at least twice in one day so you could say that she'd be used to it by now. But Leaf wasn't, in fact she kind of hated it and wished that she wasn't as clumsy as she was.
Still trying to balance the books, Leaf struggled a little and shifted the position of her camera once more before losing her footing and stumbling forwards. The books automatically emptied her hands, her camera twisted around her neck and bumped into her chest. There was a loud crash and a pause between that and the time where Leaf squealed. It was a late reaction, but that's the brunette with blonde highlights for you. As expected, the librarian appeared and started to give the eightteen year old a good telling off about dropping the library books and make a loud noise. Apparently it wasn't 'acceptable' and she should 'be ashamed of herself for doing so.' The musician couldn't help but shake her head a little, she felt her cheeks flush and her head lowered to the floor. Her hands shook slightly and she chewed on the inside of her lower lip, waiting until the librarian was finished with her little stint of her favourite past-time; tell Leaf Powers off, for accidental incidents.
Once the embarrassment was over, the brunette bent down to pick up all the books and just shoved them onto the nearest table - people were looking at her and she didn't do staring people. Keeping her head low, Leaf rushed out of the library, leaving the books on the table, and to her locker. It wouldn't have been so bad if there had been only three people in the library, but it was bad because there had been a lot more than just three people, plus a few teachers and someone that she didn't recognise. Shaking her head and allowing her long, brown hair to cascade over her shoulder and obscure her face from others, Leaf carried on walking until she reached her locker. Stopping, she placed her hand on the lock and twisted it a couple of times before it clicked and opened. Taking the camera from around her neck, she placed it carefully into the hanging camera bag and zipped it up. Taking a hair piece from the pack attached to the side of the locker, Leaf quickly pulled her hair into a neat, yet messy pony tail and tucked her bangs behind her ears.
Closing the locker door, she shoved her hands into the pockets of her skinny jeans and started to wander around the school, not noticing that there were people milling around the hallways and filling it up. It was a crowd, a big crowd, but it dispersed quickly by people filling up empty classrooms. Leaf didn't notice however, she simply carried on walking and walking until her feet hit concrete ground and she felt a slight breeze on her pale face. Looking up slightly, Leaf turned her head to the side and then to the other side. "Odd..." she mumbled to herself when she saw that there was hardly anyone around. Shrugging her shoulders, she carried on walking and headed on over to the Java Hut - the place she liked to go to find silence and eat food.
Unfortunately, Leaf, as usual, wasn't looking where she was going and so ended up; first, walking into something soft, stumbling forwards and then she was on the ground. A slight scream escaped her mouth when she fell, her eyes closed and her hands were thrown out to the side to break her fall. However, she felt hardly any pain and when she opened her eyes, she found herself in a tangle of limbs with someone. "Ahh, s-s-sorry!" she mumbled, attempting to get out of the human mess, but to no avail. Looking up at the ceiling and around the sidewalk, Leaf saw that there were a couple of other people in there. Gulping, the guitarist untangled herself carefully and moved over to other side of the sidewalk and quickly ducked inside the Java Hut; where she ordered a cup of coffee and a cookie before taking her seat in her usual place.
