BAND HISTORY: He grew up with the other members of the Nihilist Society in Jersey, and when the decided to form a band, David took it upon himself to learn how to play the guitar. Having a more gravely voice than the others he found himself also screaming out some of the more angry lyrics. They ended up getting kicked out of some of the prime clubs because of their wildness. When they graduated the guys decided to make the move to Fairview in hopes of getting in on the music scene.
But, here they were viewed as the out of town band that infringed on the locals music careers. Though... the crowd at their gigs didn't seem to mind. It still made it hard to play nice with the other local bands... but who made friends nowadays?

APPEARANCE: David's medium length hair seems to magically be stuck in the bed head look. He has a short goatee and the dustings of a mustache. Tattoos adorn the length of his arms and on some places on his torso. He has dark brown eyes, and stands at around 6 feet.
STYLE: The Rolling Stones said it best, "Paint It Black." Dave wears black, old, and tattered clothes. He doesn't mind wearing the darker colored shirts or even the occasional white shirt during the summer but his jeans are always black regardless of weather. Not a big fan a logos he wouldn't wear anything super colorful.

PERSONALITY: David is the angry screaming guy behind the Nihilist's lyrics. Though... not really that angry, he is very caring and understanding of predicaments people go through, mostly because he, or someone close has gone through those things. Growing up in the bad part of Jersey hardened him into an experienced, and efficient, person. He knows that you can always find money, anywhere, you just have to look hard enough.
Having his connections to the drug trade and other illegal activities in his youth has taught him to make friends whenever he can, you never know when you might need them. So he never hates someone right off the bat, not even if they took his wallet. David doesn't believe in keeping secrets that are told to him. He won't tell unless asked directly about it though. Which led to some bad blood for a while with his band mates(Is He Cheating On Me?).
David has an healthy obsession with lyrical meanings. Like the different ways it's interpreted by different people. One song may be about a girl, yet also about crashing the singer's favorite car... you never know what the hell the writer was thinking. He takes this when he works with the others in writing the lyrics to there songs. He's very nit picky on what he's screaming into the mic.

MOTHER: Waitress for life, Karen Gentry lived her entire life in Trenton. She fell in love with Tim Gentry and became the mother of the three boys, before they got married. One last baby girl after the marriage and Tim was shot when somebody robbed his 7/11, ending their life together. She didn't have time to raise their eldest son David, so she let him fly the coop and is caring for the other kids at the age of 45.
FATHER: Tim was born in Maine and moved to Trenton after High School. He got involved with his future wife Karen and settled down, working as a Gas Station clerk until he was murdered during a robbery. He was 39 at the time.
SIBLINGS: Jack, Sam, and Monique. Jack and Sam are 17 and 16 respectively, they followed David into the crime life of Trenton but didn't get out with him. They are equal to the people that killed his father and David hates them for it. Monique is the little 8 year old that David wants to protect from all this. He is very protective of his sister and wanted to bring her with him to Fairview.
HISTORY: Born in Trenton, New Jersey David was the Eldest child of Tim and Karen Gentry. His parents stayed together but didn't marry until Karen became pregnant with their daughter. At this time David had done things in the city to help his parents pay rent. He rode his bicycle at night with a bag pack full of weed or coke or any other substance.
When his dad was killed David quit and met the people that would become Nihilist Society. Saved up and bought a guitar legit. Learned to play and helped make NS infamous in the Jersey Clubs. After being kicked out of one to many gigs for being unruly David decided have the group make the move to Fairview. After settling in and getting real jorbs they managed to get it together to play some gigs... they were the new kids in town.
Since then its been hazardous confrontations with other bands and fans alike. David's been in at least one bar fight since he's been in Fairview... at least because he can't remember how he got a lump on the back of his head. He's trying to save up as much of his cut to buy an apartment for him and Monique.
