[/color]OCCUPATION: bassist & tattoo artist
BAND: Icarus Takes Flight
POSITION: bassist
BAND HISTORY: Fee-fee first picked up bass when she was four, from one of her older brothers, and pretty much never stopped playing since then. She started joining and forming bands when she turned ten, and has been in fifteen bands since then. Each time she’s pretty much been the last person to leave, because she hates just giving up. A year ago though, she was playing at Rushmore’s and met some people, and they quickly all became close friends and created their own band, Icarus Takes Flight. The band almost fell apart three months ago when two of the band members who had been dating broke up, but they managed to work it out. In Fee-fee’s mind, if they can make it through that, they can make it through a lot more.

you know I'm so hot
APPEARANCE: Seraphina really could care less about what she looks like half the time, but she does normally end up straightening her hair, because otherwise it’s one hugs curly black jungle that looks like it might just eat you alive. Though, she does have to admit she loves her light blue eyes, and she’s pretty much addicted to getting tattoo’s. Fee-fee is on the tall side, at five feet ten inches, but her family is practically a bunch of giants, she’s actually pretty much the shortest one of her family. She has a slender build, and happens to wigh in around one-hundred twenty pounds.
STYLE: Fee-fee doesn’t really care what she’s wearing, she could be completely clashing and she wouldn’t give a damn, but she normally just sticks to anything black. Most days you can catch her wearing black bondage pants, a band t-shirt, and a black band hoodie. Occasionally she’ll throw in some corsets into the mix also, but she absolutely hates wearing skirts. She might wear a dress if the occasion calls for it, but she refuses to wear a skirt.
MARKINGS: She has a whole arm full of tattoo’s, and a tattoo on her collar bone that reads ‘What doesn’t kill you’ in French. Seraphina also has a tattoo of a flaming heart with the word ‘Forever’ above it on her wrist.
PIERCINGS: She has her ears double pierced, a nose ring, and a lip ring.

STRENGTHS: Seraphina is pretty awesome at playing bass thanks to one of her brothers. She also isn’t bad at making people feel better which her hugs normally help her out a little there. Fee-fee is also good at being there for people when they need someone. She does some amazing tattoo art also, and gets a lot of compliments from the people she has tattooed before on her work. Her imagination is kind of like a child’s at times, but it can be pretty interesting.
WEAKNESSES: Seraphina has a bad temper that is easily set off, and she isn’t very good at controlling it. She is also as clumsy as hell, she trips over just about everything. Not to mention if she sees any blood she often pukes. Fee-fee also can’t cook anything without burning it. Oh, and Seraphina is also know for accidently setting things on fire a lot.
FEARS: She’s terrified of blood, anyone finding out who killed her brother, and someone she cares about killing her.
HABITS: She plays with her lighter a lot, which sometimes ends up catching things on fire. She can also be seen biting her lower lip, or biting her nails if she’s deep in thought. It’s also kind of a habit of hers to hug just about everyone she sees.
GOALS: To release a record.
SECRET: When Seraphina was sixteen, she saw her older brother Ignatius shoot and kill her mother, she feels like it was her fault because all she did was stand there, and she never told the police what happened, she just said she never saw who did it. She told the police that her and her mother had been walking to the store and decided to take a short cut through an alley that had looked deserted, and she had been joking with her mom and said ‘race you to the end’ and dashed off, and she heard a gunshot and turned around, and her mother was dead. Though what really happened was that she told her mother ‘I bet you can’t make it to the end, you never make it even a few yards without turning back’ with her back to the alley, and when she turned around, Ignatius was in front of her , and he had a gun in his hand, Fee-fee just stared at him, a little confused until she looked into his eyes, he was high, which didn’t really surprise her, he was always trying new drugs, but then he shot their mother and walked away. Seraphina hasn’t told anyone, she feels like she should have done something instead of just standing there, and she doesn’t want to get her brother in trouble.

quite the charmer
PERSONALITY:
Seraphina doesn’t really like people trying to tell her what to do, and if you try and make her do what you want her to do, she’s likely to do just the opposite. Or ignore you completely. Though that’s only if you’re lucky, she gets a bit angry when people tell her what to do, and when she gets angry, things tend to get broken. In her mind, she is the only one who tells herself what to do, not someone else. If they ask nicely she would do it, normally, because she likes the whole ‘asking nicely’ thing.
Even if she absolutely detests you, Seraphina will want to hug you. She can’t help it, she hugs everyone as a greeting, even if they are across the room and she wasn’t planning on going over there. She just likes hugging people, and she hugs as many people as she can. She used to hug everyone she saw, but now she doesn’t do it as often. Because she doesn’t always feel like it, sometimes she feels like being by herself and then she won’t hug anyone, or let anyone touch her, normally she starts getting like that when she’s thinking about her mother, which she tries not to do very much, it brings up a memory she’s trying to block out.
Fee-fee likes to act fearless, even though she really isn’t, but she’s not going to let anyone know that. She likes pretending like she’s not afraid of anything, though she can’t really hide the fact that she can’t stand the sight of blood, because every time she sees it she normally pukes. That fear really isn’t very easy to hide, but she’s also afraid that someone will find out how her mother really died, that it wasn’t just a random shooting or something. She’s afraid that they’ll find out her brother, Ignatius killed her, and then she’ll get in trouble for lying to the police. Seraphina is also afraid that someone she cares about will kill her, like Ignatius killed her mother, she’s afraid that something like that will happen to her.
Seraphina really doesn’t like seeing anyone get hurt, and if she can do something about it, then she will. She was always like that, but the one time she didn’t do something was when her mother died, and since then she kicked it into overdrive. She didn’t protect her mother when she died, so she decided to try and help everyone else she saw who got hurt, because she didn’t want them to die also. Fee-fee also has a soft spot for animals, she can’t just let an animal get hurt without wanting to help it, and god forbid her see a stray; she’ll want to keep it. She likes animals a little too much, and she doesn’t care what kind they are, she still loves them. Even though she probably scares most of them away by screaming something completely ridiculous that makes no sense at all, like ‘purple mutant ninja bunny monsters are going to take over the world’. Which has happened before.
Fire, oh the lovely thing called fire. It warms you, can cook your food, and be a very dangerous weapon. To Seraphina though, it’s just fun to play with. For some reason she has a strange sort of obsession with fire, and often accidentally sets things on fire. Occasionally she’ll set something on fire on purpose, but that’s only if she really doesn’t like someone. Normally when she sets things on fire, it’s because she wasn’t paying attention to her lighter or something. Though once she starts the fire, it’s hard for her to stop it, because it traps her sort of, she can’t move when she’s looking at it. It just seems too pretty to take her eyes off of it. Which has gotten her into trouble a lot.
Warning: Seraphina likes to say very random things that make absolutely no sense; normally she shouts them loud enough for everyone to hear. She doesn't make sense half the time and the majority of her conversations could be over cats going down the rabbit hole. Or how a rainbow is really transportation for aliens and that they are trying to figure out the best way to take over our planet. Though she can't really walk and talk at the same time, or not very well at least, because every time she tries, she ends up tripping over her own feat. She's extremely clumsy, if there is something to be tripped over, she'll end up tripping over it.

SEXUALITY: heterosexual
TURN ONS: playing an instrument, tattoos, geeky-ness, pretty eyes, and glasses
TURN OFFS: controlling, judgmental people, not liking hugs, arrogance, and perverts
RELATIONSHIP HISTORY:
Seraphina has dated a few people, her first boyfriend being when she was seventeen, but that only lasted a few months before he realized that she wouldn’t have sex with him after prom, and then he dumped her. Fee-fee really isn’t very romantic at all, and she dated a guy for two years when she was eighteen who wasn’t really into romantic things either, but then she found him cheating on her…and she may or may not of set all of his clothes on fire (hint: she did). Her last relationship though only lasted a month before she couldn’t stand being around the guy. She really does want to find the right guy, and isn’t afraid of commitment, she just hates overly romantic things.
legend in the making
MOTHER: Elvira Affinity Torres (maiden name, Black) was forty-eight when she died, she would be fifty-three though had her son Ignatius not shot her. She used to be an author. Seraphina and Elvira got a long perfectly well, they joked about things together all the time, and rarely were angry at each other.
FATHER: Jasper Nathaniel Torres is fifty-five and is a graphic designer, though he used to just be an artist and do some photography here and there, but he still does that sometimes too. Seraphina normally gets a long pretty well with him, but he does tend to get a bit angry at the fact that the house often has something on fire and he was very glad when she moved out, but he’s perfectly fine to lend her some money if she needs help paying her rent – as long as she’s not setting something on fire in his house or playing bass into all hours of the night and keeping him up.
SIBLINGS: Morpheus Lucien Torres is thirty and Seraphina’s oldest brother, she gets along with him pretty well, but they don't talk very much. Scorpius Voltaire Torres is twenty-eight, she actually gets along with this brother, since he is the one who introduced her to bass guitar, but they do get a little annoyed with each other from time to time. Nymphadora Aphrodite Torres is twenty-six, and is her older sister. They don’t always see eye-to-eye and often end up yelling at each other when they are in the same place for more than a few hours. Phoenix Morticia Torres is twenty-five and is the sister that Seraphina actually gets a long with. She’s the one Fee-fee goes to when she wants a sister to talk to. Ignatius Morrissey Torres is twenty-three and is another one of her older brothers, but he’s the closest one of her siblings to her age, she hasn’t really spoken to him in five years, not much more than a few words at least, not since he killed their mother, which she’s not sure if he even remembers that day since he was high. They used to get along great, he was even the one who started calling her Fee-fee because he couldn’t say Seraphina when he was two and she was born, so he just said Fee-fee and it stuck. She got along with him best, but that’s mainly because they are closer in age and got the chance to hang out more at school, but that was before he started getting into drugs and killed their mother.
HISTORY:
On November 6th, Jasper and Elvira Torres had their sixth and last child, Seraphina Wednesday Torres. She had five older siblings, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Her brother Morpheus Lucien Torres was 9 when she was born, Scorpius Voltaire Torres was 7, and Ignatius Morrissey Torreswas 2. Her sister Nymphadora Aphrodite Torres was 5 when she was born, and Phoenix Morticia Torres was 4. Her parents had their hands full, and they hadn’t exactly been planning on another kid when they found out that Elvira was pregnant again. The house got a bit more cramped when Fee-fee joined them, and it was really easy to forget about a kid or two.
They only had three bedrooms in their house for the 8 of them. Ignatius, Scorpius, and Morpheus shared a room, Nymphadora, Phoenix, and Seraphina got the other room while their parents had the master bedroom. Fee-fee didn’t mind having to share a room, she liked it actually. She would less likely be forgotten this way. From a young age she noticed that her parents easily forgot about a kid or two when they were all suppose to leave the house, and from the first time it happened to her, she decided that she would never let it happen again. She wouldn’t be the one left behind, because she would do whatever it was that she could to make it so everyone knew that she was there. No matter what she had to do.
Her and her siblings had a knack for getting in trouble, and pretty much all of them had some crazy imaginations, but with their mom being a writer (mainly of sci-fi and fantasy) and their dad being an artist (who later became a graphic designer, and he did some photography), that was bound to happen. Their parents were also know for coming up with an idea while they were cooking dinner and running upstairs to work on it, completely forgetting about the food and letting it burn, boil over, and/or make the fire alarm go off. Her parents were also almost always getting calls from their kids school about something that they had done, or that they were frightening the other kids, and half the time they just laughed about it and said they had always done the same thing.
When she was four, Scorpius let her play on his bass and then all she wanted to do was play bass. She would often be caught sneaking into the boy’s room and playing it. On her sixth birthday, her parents gave her a bass guitar, mainly so that she would stop stealing her brother’s and they wouldn’t have to hear them arguing over it anymore. Her sisters got annoyed at her constantly, because she would be playing when they were trying to sleep and just about every other waking moment of the day that she could. The Torres family moved from Newark, New Jersey, to Fairview when Seraphina was seven, and when she was ten she started being in bands, and from then on she was always in a band or looking for people to be in a band with.
She knew her brother Ignatius got into drugs around the time he started high school and he was often high whenever she saw him, but he was always really nice when he wasn’t high, but he had a tendency to be violent when he was high. She never imagined that he would actually kill anyone though, let alone their mother. But when she was sixteen he shot their mom when he was high, and she never told anyone, and she’s not even sure if he knows that he did it. She hasn’t really spoken to him much then. After her mother died she played bass nonstop for three days, and threw herself farther into music. She still feels partly responsible for her mother’s death, but she has tried to completely block the memory…it just hasn’t really worked very well.
Fee-fee has been in fifteen bands since she was ten, but she feels like Icarus Takes Flights is the best one yet. She met the other member’s when she was playing at Rushmore’s a year ago, and shortly after they became Icarus Takes flight. Though, they have almost broken up once, they made it through, and Seraphina really wants this one to last.
